34-year old Thomas Beatie is pregnant. Yes. MR. Thomas Beatie. 
Here’s the thing. Thomas was born a female, but 10 years ago had surgery to remove his/her breast and started taking testerone to keep his/her chest flat. However he/she decided to keep his/her reproductive organs. (read article)
Now, Thomas is pregnant by artificial insemination–injected by his wife, Nancy.
Two questions:
1. Why do you think Mr. Beatie is doing this?
2. How do you feel about it?

first of all, Thomas is not a man. He was born a woman and always be a woman. Just because you pull out her boobs and she grows some facial hair, that doesn’t make her a man. If that is the case, all of my hairy flatchested aunts are men!

How do I feel? Could care less… just another freak show and someone that has decided to screw up his kid. I believe they are having a daughter. How the heck do you think that kid is growing up normal.

I read about this awhile back and my mind quickly went to a story I remember being around about 4 years ago where a “real” man was carrying a child in a lab type situation. I never found out what happened to him.
This time, I think there is a pinch of want for celebrity. This man/woman could’ve done all this without much spectacle and continued to live his/her life without all the drama.
I am more upset by the fact that he/she is making this whole thing a news fiasco than that some woman that wanted to be a man decided she’d like to be a woman for 10 months and will return to his/her testosterone meds after.
This will definitely have some reprecussions in our world, just waiting to see how much.
and I also worry about the child…this is craziness.

Patrick is correct, there is no way humanly, possible a real man and i stress the word “real” man can be pregnant the
human body of a man cannot possibly bear a child. Question? Where is the baby coming out at. Not out of his penis, Not out of his rectum!! Let’s stop this propaganda and call it for what it is, or should i say for what she is.
A male born at birth cannot get pregnant regardless of a sex change later in life, cannot bear children. You might can
change the outside of your body but you cannot change the

Satan is busy, everywhere in today’s world he is making a presence. This is just another example of how close we are to the return our almighty God! Men and woman trying to do things against Gods will, please people, study the word! You will find the answers to all of todays craziness in the good book.

It’s interesting that you selected this article for today’s topic. I had sent the same one to several of my friends. I had seen this transgender individual on discovery about 6 months ago when she was trying to decide whether or not she wanted to do attempt to get pregnant. I think a lot of it is for the “shock” value. Last year I had posed a question to one of the Pastor’s regarding they’re coming to our churches regarding the transgender population and basically they were hoping that this is a population that won’t be that numerous. However, it is a widely growing set of people that already has over a million ascribing to this lifestyle. What can you say these are the last days.

But WHY would ANYONE, male or female, put their child through such an ordeal that will “mark” them for the rest of their life??!! Regardless of how I feel towards this male/female person, think of the child. Imagine how that little girl will grow up and forever be the “kid who was born of a man/woman”. This little girl will NEVER “fit in” anywhere. How sad that these people only considered their own selfish desires when conceiving this child. They could have either quietly had the baby without getting the media involved, or adopted, or used a surogate. Why the huge spectacle???
