There’s a story in the Bible about a centurion (Roman soldier) that amazes Jesus with his faith. He wasn’t a follower of Jesus, but because of his faith, Jesus miraculously healed the centurion’s servant.
There are people who are not religious at all, but have tremendous faith. They are believers. They believe in life’s possibilities.
Isn’t it sad when so-called “believers” are really not believers at all! They are religious people that fail to realize that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM/HER THAT BELIEVES! They live their lives based on rules and rituals, but are sad, miserable, lonely and lacking.
I think it’s important to keep in mind that many of the recipients of Jesus’ miracles in the Bible were not followers of Jesus at the time. In other words, they weren’t Christians. Yet, Jesus clearly stated that their FAITH was the reason they received their desires.
Don’t just be a Christian. Be a Believer!

Trick or Treat
October 30, 2007 — lrubin39Last night, Hasani recorded a very interesting discussion on the Christian’s response to Halloween (Click here to listen).
Is the day a big trick, designed to get the world to connect with pagan elements? Or is it a harmless treat for our young people to dress up and gather candy?
With the “holiday” just a day away, how do you approach the day, particularly as it relates to the children in your life?
